Coach Alex Sanchez

A Passion for Kids and Soccer

Alex Sanchez is a product of Miami. He attended Killian Senior High School and during his senior year helped his team win a State Championship in 1988. Alex later attended North Carolina State University, where he had an all-star career. While at NC State, Alex helped his team win an Atlantic Coast Conference Championship and in 1990 propelled it to the prestigious Final Four national competition. Alex graduated in 1992 with a B.A. in Communication.

Alex was also a member of the U.S. Under 23 National Team pool in 1990-92. He played professionally for the Fort Lauderdale Strikers, Dallas Sidekicks and played in Ecuador in the first division for Club Sport Emelec.

Alex Holds an Advanced National Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches of America (NSCAA) and a "A License" and the National Youth License from the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) . He is also a member of the National Youth Sports Coaches Association (NYSCA).

Now, as a coach, he wants to give back what his coaches have given him.
